Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11
The end has come with a bittersweet taste. It’s hard to leave this place again, but it gets easier each time. Is my time done in Africa? If not, what does it look like from here on out? Am I making a difference for Christ? There are still so many questions and, yet, I feel at peace. Finally, my uncertainty, frustration, and confusion has cumulated into a knowing and trusting You. I pray I’m better for it. To live with the choices I’ve made, and put them in your hands. To let go of my preconceived notions of leadership, to be led by You into what You may have. Give me a renewed mind, heart, and soul. I no longer live for anyone else but You.
Welcome again. (the Rwandans way of saying ‘Goodbye, see you again.’)
